Blue skies and eruptions
This amazing natural phenomenon occurs approximately every five minutes, so there is a good chance for everyone to get their "photo of a lifetime". Not having a brilliant camera, just a point and shoot, this was the best I could do, but I was VERY impressed. If Iceland wasn't so expensive, I'd be back there tomorrow!
Do you come from a land downunder?
Standing watching the sun set behind Uluru must rate as THE most beautiful destinations in the world - one of those "places to see before you die".I'd seen the brochures, watched programmes on the television but nothing prepares you...it really is "jaw droppingly beautiful".
The chatter than had been prevalent a few moments before ebbs away as everyone turns to watch the colours change from red to violet.
Even as the sun disappears and the rock is cloaked in darkness, we stood listening to the sounds of the Outback before the Southern Cross appeared in the sky.
But it's not over....the next morning you can witness the second most amazing light show as the sun rises!

San Francisco Blues
The sky in San Francisco Bay is one of the best memories from my tour.Arriving in norhern California i had expected the fog and rain, and after a week sleeping under the stars in the Rockeys, had got used to it! But my first day in San Francisco was something to behold! THEN the fog rolled in in the afternoon and visibility cut to 50 ft !
